The equipment is one kind of tubular heat exchanger. The Casing Pipe heat exchanger is to connect two different sizes tubes to generate concentric socket pipes, the outer tubes are called shell side, the inside tubes are called tube side. Two kinds of medium can flow reversely or same direction inside shell side and tube side, to achieve heat exchange effect.
Structure Principle
The equipment uses inside tubes of socket pipes as the heat exchanging element. Two different diameter tubes are linked together to generate concentric socket pipes, each socket pipe is called "one side", each side's inside tubes are connected by U type elbow tube, the outer tubes are linked in row in turn by short tubes, then they are fixed on support frame. The heat was delivered by one fluid to another fluid through tube wall of inside tube. Normally, the hot fluid is brought in at upper part, the cold fluid is brought in at bottom part. Both sides of outer tubes are welded to inside tubes or use flange to connect. The inside tube normally is connected with U type elbow tube with flange, for easy cleaning and increase and decrease of heat transfer tube. The length of each side's heat transfer tube is 4-7 meters. The biggest heat transfer area can be 18 square meters, so it is very suitable for small volume heat exchange. When the temperature difference inside and outside tube wall is big, can setup U type expansion joint at outer tube or use stuffing box sliding seal between outer tube and inside tube, to reduce temperature difference stress. The tube is stainless steel material, when use SS316L material, the equipment is suitable for corrosive medium's heat exchange.

When it is liquid-liquid heat transfer, the heat transfer coefficient is 870~1750W/(m2·ºC), it is especially suitable for liquid with high pressure, small flow capacity, low heat transfer coefficient. 3. The structure is simple, work application range is wide, heat transfer area can be increase or decrease easily, both sides' fluid's flow speed can be increased, to make sure two sides of heat transfer surface have high heat transfer coefficient, enlarges the heat transfer area, enhances heat transfer effect. It can add various types of fins at inside tube's outer wall, and add film scraping device inside inside tube, to make the equipment is suitable for fluid with high viscosity. 4. The form can be changed at will according to the installation place, easy for installation.
Cleaning
The long time running will make the equipment blocked by the scale, it will lower the efficiency, enhance the energy consumption, shorten usage life. If scale can not be cleaned in time, it will make the equipment in danger of maintenance, closing down or scrapping.
