Commission methods:
Before commissioning the equipments, make sure the steam, cooling water and electricity is ready.
- Extractor Commission
- Connecting the piping of air compressor(5.5kw, air pressure is bigger than 0.6MPa), then switch on the valve on Extractor's air cylinder control panel, check if the discharge gate opens smoothly, if no problem, close the discharge gate.
- Inject the water into the extractor, to 2/3 level place, switch on the motor. Inject steam into the extractor jacket, keep the steam pressure around 0.1MPa, until the water is heated to 80ºC, stop the steam heating, open the cooling water valve of condenser and cooler(make sure the cooling water temperature is 25-35ºC),check the extractor's pressure and temperature(there are pressure gauge and thermometer on the extractor).
- Extracted product output: the extracted product output is made till there is no pressure inside the extractor, and the cooling water is closed. Open the outlet valve, switch on the pump, the water(product) goes to the double barrel filter(Should clean the filter regularly, just open top cover to clean it), then delivered to the storage tank. When all the water(product) are drained, open the discharge gate, discharge the residue, till here, the extraction process is finished.
Tips:
- Check if all valves are closed before commission
- Single Effect Concentrator Commission
- Test the vacuum pump: check if the gasket & bolts are screwed up, check if there is leakage, then inject water to test the vacuum pump.
- Open storage tank's outlet valve, pump the water(or product) from the storage tank into the concentrator, can check the water(or product) status through the pipe sight glass. Switch on the vacuum pump, close the concentrator's outlet valve and discharge valve, open the cooling water valve(requires cooling tower to offer 25-35ºC cooling water), when the liquid level is at first sight glass place, stop the water input.
- Inject steam into the heater, starts heating. The working pressure inside concentrator is -0.08MPa(Vacuum). The water(or product) circulating refluxes inside the concentrator, it means the concentration is happening. Concentrating time is according to customer's requirement of product. After concentration is finished, open the outlet valve, switch on the pump, to pump the product into the storage tank, till here, the concentration process is finished.
- Condensed water output: when the condensed water inside the receiving tank is at the view glass level place, it needs to drain the condensed water out. Operating process: open the air outlet on the receiving tank, to drain out the air first, then open the right side butterfly valve, to let the condensed water go inside the receiving tank, then open the bottom outlet valve to drain the condensed water out.
Remark: Every time when the condensed water is at the view glass level place, should do above steps.
